BMW M8 Competition Coupe '50 Jahre M' Edition launched

The M8 Competition Coupe '50 Jahre M' Edition is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 617 BHP and 750 Nm.

BMW has launched the M8 Competition Coupe '50 Jahre M' Edition in India. The sports coupe is priced at Rs 2.55 crore (ex-showroom).

The M8 Competition Coupe '50 Jahre M' Edition comes with a hexagonal kidney grille with M double slats, M carbon fibre roof, M gills, rear spoiler and diffuser along with an M-specific double-flow exhaust system with quad tailpipes. The M Carbon exterior package also includes a carbon front bumper, side air intakes and carbon ORVMs.

The car is available in a wide range of exterior colour options. These include M Isle of Man Green, M Brooklyn Grey, Aventurine Red and special Individual paints such as Daytona Beach Blue, Frozen Brilliant White, Frozen Marina Bay Blue, Frozen Deep Green & Frozen Deep Grey.

Inside, the M8 Coupe comes with M Sport Seats with illuminated 'M8' logos. The cabin is lined in dual-tone Merino leather upholstery with hexagonal embroidery. Additional performance parts like M Carbon engine cover, M Carbon ceramic brakes, M Carbon bucket seats and M Driver’s Package are available as options.

The M8 Competition Coupe '50 Jahre M' Edition is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 617 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 750 Nm @ 1,800-5,600 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
