BMW M8 Convertible spotted in India

Just a day after the BMW M8 was spotted testing in India, images of the M8 Convertible have surfaced online.

Like the coupe, the M8 Convertible gets a redesigned bumper with larger air vents and twin-pod LED headlights. It has slim, wraparound tail lights and quad-exhausts. Convertible gets a retractable fabric top. This test mule also has the emission testing apparatus mounted at the rear.

Powering the M8 Convertible is a 4.4-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 592 BHP and 750 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and has all-wheel drive. The Competition version gets a bump in engine output. It has 617 BHP but torque remains unchanged.

The BMW M8 coupe and convertible are expected to be imported as completely built units (CBU). Reports suggest that the M8 could be launched sometime next year.
