Austria-based Brixton Motorcycles has launched its Crossfire and Cromwell range of bikes in India priced from Rs 4.74 lakh and Rs 7.84 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The motorcycles will be imported via the CKD route and assembled at KAW Veloce Motors’ facility in Kolhapur. Deliveries will begin in January 2025.
The Brixton Crossfire is a scrambler-style motorcycle. It is available in two variants: 500X and 500XC, priced at Rs 4.74 lakh and Rs 5.19 lakh. While the 500 X is more road-biased, the 500 XC is built to go off-road and has a raised front fender and knobbly tyres.
The Crossfire is powered by a 486cc twin-cylinder engine that produces 46 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm @ 6,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The 500XC is equipped with a 19-inch wirespoke wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel at the rear. The 500X, on the other hand, has 17-inch rims at both ends. Both models get a fully adjustable USD fork and an adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS.
The Cromwell 1200 is a retro-styled roadster similar to the Triumph Bonneville. It is available in two variants: 1200 and 1200X, with the latter being more off-road focused. The bikes are priced at Rs 7.84 lakh and Rs 9.11 lakh, respectively, and will be limited to 100 units.
The Cromwell is powered by a 1,222cc twin-cylinder engine that produces 82 BHP @ 6,550 rpm and 108 Nm @ 3,100 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Both versions of the Cromwell have a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The bikes feature dual 310 mm discs at the front and a single 260 mm disc at the rear.
