BYD e6 electric MPV: Next batch to be delivered in June

The BYD e6 was launched in November last year at a price of Rs. 29.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

China-based BYD launched the e6 electric MPV in India back in November 2021. The first 30 units were delivered in January this year. We've been told that the next batch of cars is expected to be delivered next month.

The BYD e6 is priced at Rs. 29.15 lakh (ex-showroom). That being said, the company charges around Rs. 60,000 extra for the 6.6 kW charger.

The BYD e6 uses a 71.7 kWh Blade Battery that is said to offer a maximum range of 520 km (WLTC cycle). The battery powers a 70 kWh electric motor that has a torque rating of 180 Nm. The car can reach a top speed of 130 km/h.

The e6 MPV supports AC and DC fast charging. The company claims that the battery can be recharged from 30% to 80% within 35 minutes using a DC fast charger.
