Can I install a hazard button on the steering wheel of my Honda Jazz?

I want to have a 'hazard button' on my steering wheel of Honda Jazz

BHPian Arwin07 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Part 1. Why I use hazard light and why I want it in the steering wheel?

Part 2. Is it technically feasible to rewire a button in steering wheel.

Part 1: Why I use hazard light?

Let me quote this thread to begin my case.

I drive a lot in highways around Chennai and I find myself stopped in the middle of highway because of traffic pileup, sudden cattle crossing, two wheelers or pedestrians crossing the highway. I am a sitting duck in the highway and indicate hazard light so that vehicles around me notice and stop in time. Common from Tada- Chennai bypass- Chengalpattu -Tindivanam.

Other use case is in speed bumps and barricades in highways, I flash hazard light for a few seconds to indicate 'I am going to slow down, so kindly don't rear end me, thanks.

This was a recent use of hazard light, where once a cow started to cross the road, I flashed hazard light to warn the cars behind me. A Swift slowed down and avoided hitting while a Creta hit the cow.

Where I don't use hazard lights:
To indicate to others that it is raining.
To indicate that I am driving straight in a junction.

Now that we have established why I use hazard lights a bit more frequently than usual, it would be convenient to have the button on steering wheel rather than in the middle of the dashboard. I understand that it is because front passenger also has access to the button.

Part 2- Is it technically feasible to rewire hazard button in steering wheel?

I drive a 2018 Honda Jazz VX MT. Attached is a picture of the steering wheel:

The steering button console has a centre button to choose the source of audio- bluetooth, AM, FM. I never use this button as I have Android auto in my Samsung mobile which I mount in a mobile stand thanks to this thread.

My car is due for service this month. Is it technically possible and safe for Honda service centre to rewire Hazard button to this 'Source' button in steering wheel that I never use?

Before talking with service centre engineer and technicians, I would like the esteemed opinions of fellow TeamBHPians.

Thank you.
