Citroen C3 spied undisguised in India

The Citroen C3 will compete with the Tata Punch in the sub-4 meter SUV segment.

An undisguised test mule of the Citroen C3 has been spied in India. The white C3 was spotted near the Chennai-Porur toll plaza.

The Citroen C3 was unveiled in India back in September last year. The car is based on the CMP modular platform.

The sub-4 meter crossover features a funky exterior design. The front features V-shaped LED daytime running lights and headlamps positioned slightly lower. The car gets a dual-tone exterior and black plastic cladding all around.

On the inside, it gets a dual-tone dashboard with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The car also gets a digital instrument cluster and a smartphone holder.

In India, the Citroen C3 is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. It is likely to be offered with either a 5-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
