Docu-series on Brawn GP to debut on Nov 15; hosted by Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves is said to have interviewed multiple personalities linked to F1 around the 2009 season.

As per reports, a new documentary series detailing the story of the Brawn GP Formula1 team and their 2009 World Championship win is in the works.

The documentary will be hosted by Hollywood actor, Keanu Reeves. The documentary will have four episodes and is scheduled to debut on November 15, 2023, on Hulu in the US and Disney+ for the rest of the world.

The docu-series will take viewers through the story of how Ross Brawn bought the team for just 1 GBP and ended up winning both the Driver's and Constructor's titles in the 2009 F1 season. Jenson Button who won the 2009 Driver's World Championship with Brawn will be featured in the series and has confirmed that the documentary will showcase plenty of unseen archival footage shot during that time. The series will also feature Ross Brawn, team CEO Nick Fry and Button's teammate Rubens Barrichello.

Post the 2009 success though, Brawn sold the team to Mercedes-Benz and stayed with them till 2013 before taking a break from F1. Ross Brawn returned to the sport in 2017 and took up the role of a manager on the sport's administrative side.

Keanu Reeves is said to have interviewed multiple personalities linked to F1 around the 2009 season. Reeves, himself is known to be a car and motorcycle enthusiast and has been spotted at multiple F1 races over the years.
