Ducati is set to launch the Scrambler 1100 in India on August 27, 2018.
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 is based on a tubular steel trellis frame. It measures 2,190 mm in length, 895 mm in width and 1,330 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 1,514 mm and it comes with 15-litre fuel tank.
In terms of styling, the Scrambler 1100 looks similar to the Scrambler 800 that is currently on sale. It has a circular LED headlamp and raised handle bars. The bike is equipped with 45 mm upside-down forks in the front and monoshock in the rear. It rides on 10-spoke alloy wheels finished in black. Unlike the Scrambler 800, it has twin-underseat mounted exhausts.
Powering the Scrambler 1100 is a 1,079 cc, 2-cylinder engine that produces 84 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 88 Nm of torque @ 4,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The braking setup consists of twin 320 mm discs with 4-piston calipers in the front and a 245 mm disc in the rear with a 1-piston caliper. Bosch Cornering ABS comes standard.
