Ducati has revealed its new Sport Cruiser, the XDiavel V4. It will arrive at dealerships by the end of this year.
The highlight of the new XDiavel V4 is its MotoGP-derived Granturismo V4 engine. The 1,158cc unit delivers 168 BHP @ 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. The engine features a counter-rotating crankshaft, which is said to reduce the gyroscopic effect, increasing agility. Ducati has also switched to a chain final drive for the new model.
The XDiavel is a sporty, low-slung cruiser with its seat set at 770 mm from the ground and forward-set footpegs. The bike weighs 229 kg (dry).
The XDiavel V4 is based on an aluminium monocoque suspended by an upside-down fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres with a 240-section tyre at the rear.
In terms of features, the XDiavel V4 comes with a 6.9-inch digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, ABS, three power modes and four riding modes.
