Ola Electric Q4 net loss widens to Rs 870 crore

Ola maintained its leadership in the electric 2-wheeler segment in FY2025.

Ola Electric recorded a net loss of Rs 870 crore in Q4 of FY2025, up from Rs 416 crore in the previous year. The EV maker’s revenue also dropped by 62% from Rs 1,598 crore in Q4 FY2024 to Rs 611 crore.

Ola Electric’s vehicle registrations fell more than 52% year-on-year to 56,760 units. Sales of its entry-level models, though, gained momentum, making up 69.3% of the total volumes compared to 43.1% in the previous year.

Speaking of overall sales, Ola maintained its leadership in the electric 2-wheeler segment in FY2025. The company sold 3,59,221 units compared to 3,29,549 units in the same period last year.

Ola Electric plans to focus on scaling revenue and operating leverage in FY2026. “With a robust product roadmap, vertical integration and R&D focus, and strong distribution and service infrastructure, Ola Electric is well positioned to drive the next phase of EV adoption in India across both scooters and motorcycles," the company said in a stock exchange filing.
