The company stated that the Mach-E is selling as soon as it arrives at the dealerships.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E has outsold the petrol-powered Mustang model for the first time ever. According to Ford's sales figures for the month of June, the electric Mustang registered 2,465 units of sales, compared to its petrol-powered sibling which clocked a slightly lower 2,240 units.

Ford also announced that the sales of its electrified vehicles (pure electric & hybrid), grew by 117 percent in June. This allowed the American brand to close the first half with sales of 56,570 units - a new record. Among these, the Mustang Mach-E is said to have contributed 12,975 units, while F-150 hybrid, Escape Hybrid and Plug-in hybrid models brought in the remaining sales.

While the month of June did see the Mustang Mach-E register higher sales, the petrol-powered sibling still leads the way in terms of sales numbers for the first half of 2021. The petrol-powered Ford Mustang has registered a little over 31,000 units in the first 6 months, while the Mach-E comes in with 12,975 units.

Having said that, Ford is still excited about the Mustang Mach-E sales. The company stated that the Mach-E is selling as soon as it arrives at the dealerships.
