Euro-spec Citroen C3 Aircross unveiled

The SUV will be offered with both petrol and EV powertrain options.

Citroen has taken the wraps off the all-new C3 Aircross for the European market. The new Euro-spec Citroen C3 Aircross SUV, similar to the C3 hatchback, features a very different design compared to the model sold in India.

The new Euro-spec C3 Aircross is 4.39 metres long and comes with optional third-row seats. The car is underpinned by the same platform as the C3 hatchback but gets higher ground clearance and a slightly raised driving position.

In terms of design, the Euro-spec C3 Aircross features a boxier design and comes with a bunch of features and tech. These include LED automatic headlights, rear parking sensors and camera, head-up display, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless charging, larger alloy wheels and plenty more.

In Europe, the Citroen C3 Aircross will be offered with both petrol and EV powertrain options. The ICE version comes with either a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 3-cylinder mild-hybrid power unit. The turbo-petrol comes paired with a 5-speed manual, while the hybrid powertrain is mated to a 6-speed DCT.

The eC3 Aircross is said to be offered with a single-motor producing 136 BHP with the batteries offering a range of 400 km on a single charge.
