Facelift and Outgoing Hyundai Alcazar compared side by side

Overall, I felt the new one is a nice upgrade to Alcazar. The price increase of 90000 in top version 7 seater seems commensurate to added features.

I checked out the new and existing Alcazar side by side. Some observations:
1. Previous one had dark brown interiors, and new has light tan with very dark blue plastics.
2. The speedometer in old one was recessed and felt 'personal' to the driver, new one feels 'public' where all 7 seats will see your speed!
3. Second row seats tumble down lever is now replaced by a pull-up flap on top of the seat, similar to Ertiga. Wish they would go all in like Alcazar and used the press button. Still, lever is gone.
4. Powered passenger seats rise in height too! Found this very interesting, as there is usually no height adjustment for passenger. Rear passenger can move the front seat to and fro and tilt it away.
5. 7 seater version had same space in all seats as the outgoing one.
6. No more footrest. Though the footrest feels bit redundant because of only 200mm ground clearance, I missed it on the new one, felt bit of a height while climbing down (I am 5'8").
7. Exclusion of sunroof from diesel was shocking to most salesmen. Some confirmed it again and again from their friends all over Maharashtra, they couldn't believe it!
8. Emerald green is similar to Starry blue in feeling, it feels black till the last moment.
9. New feature addition of Hill Descent Control with button on the gear box, next to existing 360 degree view.

Overall, I felt the new one is a nice upgrade to Alcazar. The price increase of 90000 in top version 7 seater seems commensurate to added features. 6 seater is further costlier by 20k, mainly because of rear seat ventilation.
