Force Gurkha Pickup truck spotted testing in India

The Force Gurkha Pickup was recently spotted testing on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

Force Motors is gearing up to launch the Gurkha 5-door later this year. In addition to the 5-door version, the carmaker appears to be working on a third iteration of the Gurkha – a dual-cab pickup truck.

The Force Gurkha Pickup was recently spotted testing on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The test vehicle has a large loading bay with a soft top and a side-hinged tailgate.

The design of the front fascia looks similar to the Gurkha 3-door. It has a trapezoidal grille with a horizontal split in the centre. The test car is equipped with 5-spoke alloy wheels, a snorkel, side steps, a rear tow hitch and even a roll cage.

The Gurkha pickup could use the same 2.6-litre diesel engine as the standard Gurkha. It produces 90 BHP and 250 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
