Hero MotoCorp appoints Niranjan Gupta as CEO

Pawan Munjal will continue as Executive Chairman and Whole-time Director of the Board.

Hero MotoCorp has announced the appointment of Niranjan Gupta as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. He will take charge of his new responsibilities from May 1, 2023.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Gupta served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Head-Strategy and M&A at Hero MotoCorp. He played a crucial role in forging partnerships with Harley Davidson and Zero Motorcycles and has over 25 years of experience in finance, mergers & acquisitions, supply chain and strategy roles across various sectors.

Gupta also serves as a Director on the Board of Ather Energy, HMC MM Auto Private Limited and HMCL Colombia. Before joining Hero MotoCorp, he served at Vedanta Limited and Unilever.

Meanwhile, Pawan Munjal will continue as Executive Chairman and Whole-time Director of the Board.
