Hero Xpulse 200 ABS issue and its fix

Thanks to BHPian VR/46_Chet for sharing this information with other enthusiasts.

Many owners of the Hero Xpulse bike are facing problems with the bike's front ABS unit. It is reported that moment you dive into a pothole or go over bad roads, the ABS kicks in and the brake lever gets hard due to which, one cannot apply the front brake for about 2-3 seconds. During this time, if any vehicle comes in front of the bike, there is a high chance of a collision.

After the BHPian raised the issue on Twitter, he was told by Hero MotoCorp that it would replace the bike's ABS unit with a one. The faulty ABS unit has since been replaced and the problem has been solved.

Further, for the owners who have complained about coarse engine noise, a reworked engine head is also on its way.
