Honda City Hybrid real-world fuel efficiency: 1st tank-to-tank test

It took me 10 days to cover the indicated 428 km range to get an accurate fuel efficiency number.

My first tank-to-tank test was done on the e:HEV and the whole ride was in Bangalore traffic (which was bad or worse all the time, including last Friday's heavy rains). During the entire trip, the vehicle was in econ mode" while drive and break modes were used intermittently.

It took almost 10 days to cover that 428 km and the trip meter readings always hovered around 19-20 km/l. Tank to tank with top-up was done at the same fuel station, and the mileage figure of 18.22 km/l was a pleasant surprise.
