Honda releases new logo for its future EVs at CES 2024

The new logo is simple and reminiscent of the original H mark, used by the brand in the 1960s.

Honda has released a new logo at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024.

The new logo "H mark" as Honda calls it will be exclusive to the brand's future electric vehicles. This indicates that its ICE-powered vehicles will carry forward the current logo, which has been unchanged since 1981, apart from a small refresh sometime in the early 2000s.

The new logo is simple and reminiscent of the original H mark, used by the brand in the 1960s. As per reports, Honda has designed the new logo to "commemorate the development of the next-generation EVs." It was showcased alongside the brand's two electric concepts at CES, namely the Saloon and Space Hub; both of which sport the new "H mark".

Honda also mentions, "This design expression, like two outstretched hands, represents Honda’s commitment to augment the possibilities of mobility and sincerely serve the needs of the users of Honda EVs."
