Honda's upcoming commuter bike could be CG Dream

Earlier this month, an image of a new commuter motorcycle from Honda was leaked on the internet. Now, another image of the bike, possibly from a product presentation has surfaced.

The image suggest that the new motorcycle will be the CG Dream, a bike already on sale in Pakistan. The motorcycle is a bare basic offering with skinny tyres, spoked wheel rims and a single contoured seat. It has a telescopic fork suspension at the front, dual shock absorbers at the rear and drum brakes all round.

The bike is likely to be powered by the the same 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine that is found in the CD 110 Dream, Dream Neo and Dream Yuga. However, it could be tweaked to deliver a better fuel economy with less focus on performance.

The CG Dream is likely to sit at the bottom end of the Dream range and could be priced between Rs. 38,000-40,000.
