Hyundai Creta facelift leaked ahead of debut

The Creta facelift is expected come with ADAS and a digital instrument cluster similar to the Alcazar.

Hyundai is set to unveil the updated Creta at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2021 (GIIAS) later this month. You may have seen several teaser images over the past few weeks, however, here are some leaked images of the actual car.

The Creta facelift gets a redesigned front fascia inspired by the new Tucson. It features a Parametric Jewel grille and Parametric Jewel Hidden daytime running lights integrated into the grille. The rear has boomerang-shaped LED taillights similar to the current model.

On the inside, the Creta gets a digital instrument cluster similar to the Alcazar. More importantly, the SUV is expected to come with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

In India, the SUV is likely to retain the same engine options as before. These include a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol engine producing 113 BHP and 144 Nm, a 1.4-litre, turbo petrol that makes 138 BHP and 242 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that puts out 113 BHP and 250 Nm. The petrol engines are available with a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed DCT and a CVT, while the diesel engine comes with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
