Hyundai Creta-rivalling Maruti YFG interior spied

The Maruti YFG SUV could be offered with a strong hybrid powertrain along with the more conventional mild-hybrid and turbo-petrol engine options.

New spy images of Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming Creta-rivalling SUV have surfaced online. The latest set gives us a peek into the car’s interior.

The spy images suggest that the Maruti YFG is likely to get a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. On its right-hand side is a blue engine start / stop button.

The upcoming SUV is expected to come with a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system and could also get features such as ventilated front seats, a heads-up display and a 360-degree camera.

Maruti's new mid-size SUV (codenamed: YFG) is expected to be based on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform. It could be powered by the 1.5-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine that is currently offered in the Ertiga and XL6. It might also get a strong hybrid option.
