Jeremy Clarkson suspended for allegedly punching a producer

Jeremy Clarkson, host of the popular British automobile show - Top Gear, is known for his wicked British humor. The 54-year old has now been suspended by the BBC due to a fight between him and a producer of the show. Reports suggest that he allegedly punched producer Oisin Tymon over catering arrangements during an outdoor shoot.

The show has faced a lot of heat due to his sly, racial remarks in the past. He or the representatives of the show have even apologized for their actions on a few occasions. During the month of May 2014, BBC already warned to sack him, if he made "one more offensive remark, anywhere, at any time". A disciplinary hearing by BBC is being readied for him.

Due to his suspension, the two episodes of the show will not be broadcast, while the third episode might not be transmitted. Over the years, Jeremy Clarkson has become an integral part of Top Gear and now an online petition to re-instate Clarkson has already been signed by over 500,000 supporters - goes to show the popularity of this Brit.
