The Sonet X Line is expected to be positioned above the GTX Plus trim.

Kia is gearing up to launch a new variant of the Sonet called the X Line. It is expected to be positioned above the GTX Plus trim.

The short teaser video partially reveals the crossover's front fascia. It features LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The Sonet X Line is also likely to be offered in a Matte Graphite exterior colour.

Like the Seltos X Line, the Sonet too could get black chrome exterior trim and gloss black ORVMs. Additionally, the car could feature red accents on the bumpers, faux skid plates and wheels. It is likely to get a dark-themed interior, while the feature list will be identical to the GTX Plus trim.

The Sonet X Line is expected to be offered with two engine options. These include the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol paired with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and the 1.5-litre diesel mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
