Kia Syros scores 5 stars in Bharat NCAP crash test

The Syros scored a dynamic score of 23.42 out of 24 for child occupant protection.

The Kia Syros has been awarded a 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP. The compact SUV scored 30.21 points out of 32 for adult occupant protection and 44.42 points out of 49 for child occupant protection.

According to the test report, the Syros offered good protection to the head, neck, chest and lower body in the frontal offset barrier test and adequate protection to the driver's chest and lower leg.

In the side movable barrier test, the Syros offered good protection to the head, chest and abdomen of the test dummy. The car also offered good protection in the side pole impact test.

The Syros scored a dynamic score of 23.42 out of 24 for child occupant protection. Its CRS installation score was 12/12, and the vehicle assessment score was 9/13.
