Made-in-India BMW G 310 RR to be exported to China

China is the second largest market for BMW Motorrad's 310 series with around 6,000 units sold.

BMW Motorrad India plans to export the G 310 RR to international markets, including China.

The BMW G 310 RR is manufactured alongside the Apache RR 310 at the TVS plant in Hosur. It will serve as the production hub for global markets.

Markus Mueller-Zambre, head of region Asia, China, Pacific & Africa, BMW Motorrad, has stated that the BMW G 310 RR will be launched in the Chinese market in Q2 of 2023.

India is said to be the largest market for BMW’s 310 range, which includes the G 310 R and the G 310 GS as well. Out of the 50,000 units sold across the world, 15,000 bikes have been sold in India. China is the second largest market with around 6,000 units sold.

In India, the BMW G 310 RR is priced at Rs. 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike is powered by the familiar 313cc, single-cylinder engine that also powers the G 310 GS and G 310 R models. It produces 34 BHP @ 9,700 rpm and 27 Nm @ 7,700 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
