Mahindra imports six Peugeot scooters into India

In November, we had reported that some scooters from Peugeot Motorcycles (PMTC) were spotted at a Mahindra Two Wheelers facility. Now some more scooters from the French manufacturer have been spied at Mahindra's headquarters in Mumbai.

Here's a quick look at the models that have been brought to India:

Satelis 2 300i - This scooter is powered by a 278 cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine producing 21 bhp. The bike comes with a telescopic fork suspension, dual shocks at the rear and disc brakes. Other features include a tall visor at the front and a stepped seat.

Metropolis 400i RS - This is a three-wheeled scooter with a 399 cc, liquid-cooled engine that develops 37 bhp. It has a single hydraulic shock absorber at the front, dual shock absorbers at the rear and disc brakes. Other features include an adjustable windscreen, parking brake and daytime running lights.

Streetzone - This scooter has a 50 cc, 2-stroke engine that produces 4 bhp. It comes with a digital dashboard, an upside down hydraulic fork suspension at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear.

Django 125 Sport - This is a retro-styled scooter with a 124.6 cc, 4-stroke engine, putting out 10 bhp. It is equipped with LED lighting, 12V power socket, semi-digital instrumentation and disc brakes with an integral braking system.

Citystar - This scooter comes with a 125 cc, 4-stroke engine that develops 13.8 bhp. It has 13-inch wheels with disc brakes, twin halogen headlamps, digital dashboard, 12V power socket and a stepped seat.

Speedfight 3 - This is a sporty-looking scooter with a 125 cc, 4-stroke engine producing 10 bhp. It weighs 114 kg and comes with an upside down fork front suspension, 13-inch wheels, disc brakes, 12v power socket and an 8.1-litre fuel tank.

Mahindra has not revealed any plans to launch any of these scooters in India.
