Mahindra Scorpio N variant details out; bookings open on July 30

The Scorpio N will be available in 5 variants and bookings will open on July 30. Prices will be announced soon.

Mahindra has taken the wraps off the Scorpio N. Bookings will open on July 30, 2022, with deliveries planned for the upcoming festive season. The SUV will be available in 5 variants: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8 L.

The Scorpio N is based on a body-on-frame architecture. It features a bold front design with a chrome grille and twin-pod LED headlamps. The front bumper houses a pair of fog lamps with a C-shaped LED daytime running light. At the rear, the SUV gets vertically stacked tail lamp clusters and a side-hinged tailgate.

Inside, the Scorpio N gets a dual-tone leatherette interior with an Adrenox touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Alexa-enabled What3words functionality. It also comes with various connected car features, including remote engine start. Other features include a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, 12-speaker Sony audio system and an electric sunroof.

The Scorpio N will be available with two engine options. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 198 BHP / 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre diesel producing 173 BHP / 400 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.

The Scorpio N gets all-wheel drive with Mahindra’s 4xplor terrain management system with four modes: Tarmac, Snow, Mud and Desert. The SUV features a Penta Link rear suspension, including Watt’s link mechanism and frequency-dependent damping.

The 'Add to Cart' feature for the Scorpio N will be available online from July 5. The car will be available for test drives in 30 cities from the same day.
