Mahindra XUV700 Gold Edition presented to Sumit Antil

The Gold Edition has been specially commissioned for the heroes of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Today, Mahindra officially commenced deliveries of the XUV700, and one of the first cars to be delivered was the Gold Edition. The SUV was presented to Sumit Antil, who won the Gold medal for F64 Men's Javelin throw at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

The XUV700 Gold Edition is finished in Midnight Black and gets gold accents on the exterior. The car gets a special embossed badge on the fender and tailgate, front grille with gold plated vertical slats and Satin Gold Mahindra logos.

On the interior, the SUV gets gold accents on the seats and IP panel and a special badge embroidered on all the six headrests and the dashboard.

The XUV700 comes with two engine options - 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol producing 197 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that makes 182 BHP and 420 Nm (MT) / 450 Nm (AT). Both engines come with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive will also be available as an option.
