Maruti Jimny prices to be revealed on 7 June

The Maruti Jimny will compete against the likes of the Mahindra Thar and the Force Gurkha in the lifestyle segment.

Maruti Suzuki is currently conducting the media drives for the Jimny off-roader. The SUV is one of the hotly anticipated car launches of the year. Now, according to a media report, the price reveal is scheduled for June 7, 2023.

The Jimny 5-door was first showcased at Auto Expo 2023. Maruti has already garnered over 25,000 bookings for the SUV. The Maruti Jimny will compete against the likes of the Mahindra Thar and the Force Gurkha in the lifestyle segment.

The Jimny will be offered in two variants: Alpha and Zeta, with two gearbox options. These include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The Jimny gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine that develops 103 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 134.2 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro all-wheel drive system is offered by Maruti as standard.

Colour options for the SUV will include Bluish Black, Kinetic Yellow with Bluish Black Roof, Sizzling Red with Bluish Black Roof, Nexa Blue, Sizzling Red, Granite Grey and Pearl Arctic White.
