According to a media report, some Maruti Suzuki dealerships have started taking pre-bookings for the upcoming e Vitara. Customers planning to buy the electric SUV can place their orders by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.
The e Vitara is Maruti’s first pure-electric offering. It is likely to be launched in March this year and will be sold via the Nexa retail channel. There could be three variants on offer: Delta, Zeta and Alpha.
The base Delta trim could get a 49 kWh battery, while the top variants will come with a 61 kWh battery pack. The e Vitara will have a single-motor 2WD configuration and 70 kW DC fast charging support.
In terms of features, the e Vitara will get dual screens, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, a 360-degree camera, powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, sliding and reclining rear seat and Level 2 ADAS.
