Mercedes-Benz India lines up 12 new car launches for 2024

The carmaker registered its highest-ever sales of 17,408 units in CY2023.

Mercedes-Benz has revealed its product roadmap for 2024. The carmaker plans to launch over 12 models, including three new EVs. Among the cars lined up for India are the sixth-generation E-Class, the new GLC Coupe, the updated GLA and GLB SUVs and the AMG GT.

Mercedes-Benz India closed the year with record sales. The carmaker registered its highest-ever sales of 17,408 units in CY2023, a 10% growth over the previous year.

According to the company, SUVs accounted for 55% of the overall sales, fueled by the introduction of models like the GLC, GLE, GLA and the flagship GLS.

Mercedes has also announced it plans to invest Rs 200 crore in 2024. The funds will be utilized to scale up its manufacturing operations at the Chakan plant. The carmaker is also planning to expand its retail network with 20 new workshops in 10 new cities.
