MG Comet Blackstorm launched at Rs 7.80 lakh

The MG Comet Blackstorm is the new top-spec variant and now has 4 speakers.

JSW MG Motor India has launched the Blackstorm edition of the Comet EV. The compact EV is priced at Rs 7.80 lakh, excluding battery rental, which costs Rs 2.5/km. Customers can book the car by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.

The MG Comet Blackstorm is the new top-spec variant, featuring a Starry Black exterior with dark chrome and black badges. It has an all-black interior with red accents, leatherette seats with ‘Blackstorm’ embroidery and comes equipped with 4 speakers.

Powering the Comet Blackstorm edition is a 17.4 kWh battery that delivers a range of 230 km on a single charge. It has a single electric motor with an output of 41 BHP and 110 Nm.

MG launched the Comet EV in India in August 2023. According to the company, the sales increased by 29% in CY2024 over the previous year.
