MG Hector DCT completes 40,000 km: Likes & dislikes including mileage

While the ride is still plush, the fuel efficiency has gone from bad to worse.

Our 2020 MG Hector Sharp DCT BS6 has done about 40K kms now.

What we love

• Sheer comfort, space
• Fit & Finish inside is still mint
• Boot space has been a life-saver
• Ride is still plush
• Sound system still beats new kids in the block
• Driving in the city is a bliss
• Feel it's more subtly styled than the subsequent facelifts, which (the chrome spalsh on the grill) we didn't quite like

What is pinching

• Engine has gone sluggish to super sluggish
• Mileage has gone from bad to worse
• Occasional electrical issues have been cropping up
