MG to launch new Gloster variant on August 9

The 7-seater Gloster is also available in Super, Smart and Sharp trims.

MG Motor India is set to introduce a new variant of the Gloster on August 9, 2021. It is expected to be the 7-seater 'Savvy' variant.

Savvy is the top-of-the-line variant of the Gloster. But until now, it was only available in a 6-seat configuration. Instead of separate captain seats, the 7-seat version will get a bench seat in the second row. Apart from this, the list of features will remain unchanged.

The Gloster Savvy is powered by a 2.0-litre, twin-turbo diesel unit that is rated at 215 BHP and 480 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and a shift-on-fly 4WD system with an electro-mechanical differential lock.

The 7-seater Gloster is also available in Super, Smart and Sharp trims. The SUV competes with the Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner in the Indian market.
