MG partners with Medklinn for cabin sterilisation tech

MG has partnered with Singapore-based Medklinn for cabin sterilisation technology. MG will be evaluating the viability of installing the company's Cerafusion system in its cars.

Cerafusion leverages active oxygen to sterilise allergens, pollutants and microbial organisms naturally and without any chemicals. In addition to eliminating bacteria, mould, yeast and viruses from cabin air, it is claims to sterilise various surfaces as well.

After the Covid-19 pandemic swept across the world, MG started an initiative called Disinfect and Deliver. As part of this, all cars that are ready to be handed over to customers are being disinfected prior to delivery. MG is also disinfecting cars before they head out for a test drive.
