More images: Next-gen Mahindra XUV500 6-speed MT interior

Spy images reveal the XUV500's electronic parking brake and rotary drive mode selector.

New interior images of the next generation Mahindra XUV500 have surfaced online. The latest images reveal the SUV's dual-tone dashboard and a few other details.

Just like the exterior, Mahindra has completely redesigned the interior of the new XUV500. It features a wide dual-screen setup with a digital instrument cluster on one side and the touchscreen infotainment on the other. It is similar to what you get in a modern Mercedes.

This particular test car is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Note the electronic parking brake switch and the rotary drive mode selector.

The next generation XUV500 is expected be offered with a 2.0-litre mStallion T-GDi turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel unit. It will also get a 6-speed automatic transmission option. Reports suggest that the new model could be sold alongside the current generation XUV500.

Spy images also indicate that the new XUV500 could get Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) similar to those offered on the recently launched MG Gloster.
