More images: Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Alto spied sans camouflage

Reports suggest that the Alto K10 could also make a return with a 1.0-litre petrol engine.

We shared the first undisguised images of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto earlier this week. Now, more images of the car have surfaced online.

The latest images showcase the new Alto being loaded onto a flatbed. The car is finished in a bright shade of blue, which suits the small hatchback.

The design of the new Alto looks similar to the outgoing model. It has reshaped tail lamp clusters, flat-type door handles and black ORVMs. This particular car does not even have wheel caps.

The new Alto is expected to be offered with the same 796cc engine as before. This unit puts out 47 BHP and 69 Nm and will come paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Reports suggest that the Alto K10 could also make a return with a 1.0-litre petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
