More images: Tata Nexon Automatic with revamped interior spied

The updated Tata Nexon is likely to be offered with the new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. There are reports of the car getting a dual-clutch automatic option as well.

New images of the Tata Nexon facelift have surfaced online. The latest set shows the heavily updated interior of the car in more detail.

Now, we already know that the Curvv concept was the design inspiration behind the updated Nexon. Apart from the heavily redesigned exterior, the crossover will also feature a revamped cabin.

The spy images reveal a contemporary 2-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and an all-new digital instrument cluster. The car will also get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The test car seen in these images appears to be the automatic variant.

The Nexon is expected to feature a sharper-looking exterior with a split headlamp setup and an LED light bar spanning the width of the front fascia. The rear will also receive a few changes, including slimmer LED tail lights.

Reports suggest the Nexon facelift could get Tata's new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 122 BHP and 225 Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel unit is likely to be carried over as well. It has also been reported that Tata might offer the Nexon with a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
