Glad to see you having so much fun with your Jimny. My own experience (of over 16k km) is that the car works where it counts the most:
1. The compact size is perfect for India. It holds its own across both city and highway drives, never feeling small.
2. Mileage is usually between 10 to 13 kmpl, which is approx 20 to 30% higher than most comparables.
3. Suspension is literally custom designed for Indian roads and is loads of fun.
4. The Jimny looks deliciously retro. It still turns heads, including mine.
5. The chunky dashboard and ample physical buttons are a delight to see and use
6. The music system is more than adequate (unless you were born with Bose speakers in your ears, or have never ventured beyond south Mumbai)
7. The automatic 'box makes driving easy, specially in traffic
8. The 4x4 gear shift, though almost never used, makes me feel happy, however, just by being there!
All in all, I have almost completely stopped using my other cars!
