Next-gen BMW X1 interiors leaked ahead of unveil

The new BMW X1 will continue to be powered by a range of petrol and diesel powertrains.

BMW has been working on the third-generation X1 crossover. The vehicle is expected to be unveiled by end-2022 and launched in 2023.

Now, ahead of its unveil, images revealing what could be the interiors of the 3rd-gen X1, have been leaked online. The images show the driver's cockpit, revealing the dual-screen display housing the large instrument cluster and the infotainment system. The new X1 will also get a slightly redesigned steering wheel with physical buttons, along with an updated centre console. The seats can also be seen with dual-tone black and red upholstery with good shoulder and lumbar support.

The third-gen X1 has been spied testing on multiple occasions. The compact crossover from the German brand is expected to receive a number of updates to its exteriors as well.

The new BMW X1 will continue to be powered by a range of petrol and diesel powertrains. BMW has also teased the 'iX1' - an all-electric version of the SUV, which will also debut later this year.
