Next-gen Force Gurka teased ahead of launch

The new Gurkha is expected to be powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine producing 89 BHP and 260 Nm.

Force Motors has released a short teaser video of the next-generation Gurkha with the caption – “We can totally understand your excitement! We're almost there! #comingsoon”.

The new Gurkha was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. Last month, we had shared leaked images of the off-roader sporting circular headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, a snorkel and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

In addition to the cosmetic updates, the Gurkha will also get a touchscreen infotainment system, captain seats for the second row and side-facing jump seats at the rear.

The new Gurkha is expected to be powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine producing 89 BHP and 260 Nm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, a low range gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. An independent front suspension and a rigid axle at the rear will further add to its off-road capability.
