Next-gen Hyundai Grand i10 caught testing

The next-generation Hyundai Grand i10 has been spotted testing in India for the first time.

According to the spy images, the new Grand i10 appears to have a large cascade grille up front flanked by triangular fog lamp pods. It has large sweptback headlamp clusters featuring standard halogen bulbs. The test car does not have ORVM-mounted turn signals, instead these are placed in a more conventional location on the front fenders. The car has a high roof line similar to the current Grand i10. It has a raked rear windshield and wraparound tail lights.

The new Grand i10 could also get redesigned interiors with an updated infotainment system along with added features.

There is no word yet regarding the powertrains that will be offered on the next-gen Grand i10, however reports suggest that it could use the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.2-litre diesel engines. The current 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions could also be carried over.
