Nissan Micra CVT prices slashed, now starts at Rs. 5.99 lakh

Nissan India have reduced prices of the Micra CVT Variant. The locally-produced automatic hatchback now costs Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the XL variant and 6.73 lakh for the XV trim. This points to a price drop of around Rs. 50,000. The company claims that this price drop has made the Micra CVT the most affordable automatic hatchback in its segment.

The Micra automatic variant comes with an X-TRONIC CVT gearbox that is mated to a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which churns out 76 BHP. This powertrain is able to extract an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.34 kmpl.

Features on offer with the Nissan Micra CVT include keyless entry & go, steering mounted audio controls, rear LED combi lamp, follow-me home headlamps, automatic air conditioning system, and speed sensing auto door locks.

Occupant safety is taken care of by the presence of SRS dual airbags, ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).
