Quick Look at Ultraviolette Shockwave prototype at the Cochin showroom

While the Tesseract scooter garnered a high number of walk-ins who were potential customers, the Shockwave only attracted the people who were there to take Instagram pictures / videos.

The Ultraviolette Shockwave is also on display at the Cochin dealership. While the Tesseract scooter garnered a high number of walk-ins who were potential customers, the Shockwave only attracted the people who were there to take Instagram pictures / videos.

A few things stood out about the prototype
- It is really slim and promises to be a hoot to ride.
- For a prototype, the fit and finish is quite good.
- The rear brake isnt operated with your right foot. It is your left hand which will be responsible for rear braking. It will take a lot of unlearning to get used to it / remember that there is no clutch (the consequences could be ahem painful).
- I see RCB parts and I can only sigh! I hope Ultraviolette gets more reliable components for the Shockwave.
- The tires are from Reise.
- The bike was running Domino grips.
- The sales person said that we aren't allowed to sit on the bike to check the ergonomics.
- Overall, this prototype makes a pretty good first impression.
