Renault Kwid sales cross the 4 lakh mark

The Kwid is available in 9 trims, including RXE, RXL, RXT and Climber variants in both 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre avatars.

The Renault Kwid has achieved a new sales milestone of 4 lakh units in India.

This year, Renault is celebrating its 10th year of operations in India. Earlier this year, the company launched the 2021 Kwid as part of the anniversary celebrations.

The Kwid is available in 9 trims, including RXE, RXL, RXT and Climber variants in both 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre avatars. The 799cc, 3-cylinder engine produces 53 BHP and 72 Nm and the 999cc, 3-cylinder unit makes 67 BHP and 91 Nm. While a 5-speed manual transmission is available as standard, the 1.0L version gets an optional 5-speed AMT.

The 2021 Kwid comes equipped with dual front airbags as standard. The Climber Edition gets a dual-tone exterior, along with features such as electric ORVMs, day and night IRVM, front driver side pyrotech and pretensioners.
