Renault Triber Turbo Petrol launch pushed to 2022

The Triber Turbo Petrol will get the same 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that is offered in the Kiger.

Venkatram Mamillapalle, CEO and MD, Renault India, has stated that the launch of the Triber turbo-petrol has been deferred to 2022.

The Triber Turbo Petrol was initially scheduled to be launched this year, following the introduction of the Kiger.

The Triber will get the same HR10 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that was introduced in the Kiger. It produces 99 BHP / 160 Nm and comes paired with either a 5-speed manual or CVT. The Triber could also get the same transmission options.

At present, the Triber is offered with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 71 BHP and 96 Nm. This engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT.
