Royal Enfield has taken the wraps off its latest 650cc cruiser called the Super Meteor 650. The bike has been officially unveiled at EICMA 2022.

The Super Meteor 650 looks like a typical cruiser with a low-slung seat and wide handlebars. The bike has a round LED headlamp, a dual-pod instrument console with Tripper Navigation and dual exhausts.

The Super Meteor comes in two variants – standard and Tourer. The latter is equipped with a tall windscreen, a pillion backrest, panniers, larger footpegs and a touring handlebar.

Powering the Super Meteor is the familiar 648cc, parallel-twin engine from the Interceptor and Continental GT. This unit has been tuned to produce 46.2 BHP @ 7,250 rpm and 52 Nm @ 5,650 rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The Super Meteor 650 rides on 43 mm upside-down fork suspension at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 300 mm rear rotor.
