Rumour: Honda Elevate prices could start from Rs 11 lakh

Bookings for the Honda Elevate will reportedly open on July 3, 2023.

Honda finally has a mid-size SUV, in the form of the Elevate, that can take up a fight with heavyweights like the Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos. It made its global debut earlier this month and is all set to go on sale in India this festive season.

According to BHPian Xaos636, there was a dealer meeting held in Delhi recently. During the event, Honda is said to have revealed the launch timeline and tentative pricing of the Elevate.

Reports suggest that the Honda Elevate is likely to be offered in four variants with prices starting at around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the top-spec Elevate will match that of the Hyundai Creta SX(O) IVT, which is around Rs 22 lakh, on-road.

In India, the Elevate will be available with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 119 BHP @ 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm @ 4,300 rpm. It will be mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT. Surprisingly, the hybrid powertrain was not even considered for the SUV.

Bookings for the Honda Elevate will reportedly open on July 3, 2023. The official launch, however, will be held in the month of September.
