A test mule of the Hyundai Tucson facelift has been spotted on the Hyderabad outer ring road. The car is believed to be powered by a BS6-compliant engine.

The new Tucson is expected to get L-shaped LED DRLs positioned on the bumper. The test car appears to have slim LED headlights. At the rear, the SUV appears to have a dual-tone bumper with twin exhaust tips. It has ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators, blacked-out B-pillars and roof rails.

In India, the Tucson facelift is expected to get the same engine options as the current model - a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 182 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1,750-2,750 rpm, and a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol unit puts out 153 BHP @ 6,200 rpm and 192 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic, while all-wheel drive is provided as an option on the diesel version.
