The Jeep Compass has been spotted during one of its test runs. Interiors of the upcoming SUV have been caught on camera, revealing a few features of the India-spec model.

The dashboard of the Compass gets an all-black layout, with some brushed silver accents added around the center console, gear lever housing, AC vents and instrument cluster. The three-spoke steering wheel also gets some silver and chrome inserts, a circular horn pad and integrated controls for the music system and cruise control on the left and right spokes, respectively.

The instrument cluster shows a twin-pod layout with an MID screen in the center. Meanwhile, the center console gets a touchscreen infotainment system with a thick silver bezel. This suggests that the spotted model might be a mid-variant; the higher variants will likely get a larger screen. The lower center console will get automatic climate control panel and other control switches.

The images also reveal the presence of a 4x4 drive system with four preset driving modes: Auto, Snow, Sand and Mud. Other visible features include electronic parking brake, traction control, and cruise control. The rear bench gets 3-point seatbelts for all three occupants.

The Jeep Compass will be available with two engine options - a 1.4-litre turbocharged MultiAir petrol with 160+ BHP & 250 Nm of torque and a 2.0-litre diesel developing 170+ BHP & 350 Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual dry clutch technology (DDCT) automatic will be the two transmission options on offer.
